Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships and Olympic Games are not eligible). For both: a) registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 Points, b) registered horses born on or after 1st January 2013, irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for qualification if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Winter Novice Championship final. to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 The order of starting must be drawn. This competition takes place over six, eight or 10 obstacles which are progressively more difficult. No combination obstacles are allowed. The progressive difficulty is not solely due to the height and spread of the obstacles, but also to the difficulty of the track. Points are awarded as follows: One point for obstacle No. 1 cleared, two points for No. 2, three points for No. 3 etc. with total of 21, 36 or 55 points. No point is awarded for an obstacle knocked down. Faults other than knock-downs are penalised as for Table A and any of these faults, including time faults, are converted into points and deducted from any jumping points scored. In the event of equality of points for first place, there will be a jump-off against the clock over a shortened course, over obstacles that may be increased in height and/or spread. The obstacles in the jump-off must be jumped in the same order as in the first round and retain their respective points allotted in the first round. This competition may also take place directly against the clock. For the last obstacle of the course, an alternative obstacle may be provided, of which one part may be designated the Joker. The Joker must be more difficult than the alternative obstacle and carry double points. If the Joker is knocked down, the points must be deducted from the total.

28 - Blue Chip Dynamic Grades B&C Championship Qualifier
Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses in Grades B&C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members. This is a handicap class, the Grade B start height is 1.30m and the Grade C start height is 1.25m. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump a clear in the first round. Qualified Grade C horses which upgrade after the qualification will compete in the Grade C section of the final. However, if they qualify again as a Grade B again, they will compete in the Grade B section of the final. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the National B&C Handicap Championship. 31 - Six Bars
In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. The course for this competition comprises six vertical obstacles placed in a straightline with two non-jumping strides between each obstacle. In indoor arenas the first two obstacles may be placed on one straight line and the last four obstacles on a different straight line. The top element of each obstacle must be a pole. No obstacle may be set at a lower height than the obstacle preceding it. The competition is judged under Table A not against the clock with a time limit of two minutes. In the event of a disobedience, the competitor must restart the course at the obstacle where the error occurred, but may make his/her approach at an angle from outside the space between the obstacles and is not required or allowed to take any of the previous obstacles again. If an obstacle is disturbed as the result of a disobedience, the procedure in Rule 251.4 must be applied, but no time penalty is incurred. In the event of equality of faults for first place there will be up to four successive jumps-off not against the clock. The first jump-off must be over all six obstacles, but the course may be reduced progressively for each further jump-off to a minimum of three obstacles by removing in succession first, second and third obstacles. The Judge at his/her discretion may terminate the competition after the third jump-off. In the event of equality of faults in the final jump-off competitors are placed equal and divide the prize money. Competitors who withdraw from or retire during a jump-off are placed equal with those who are eliminated in the same jump-off (Rules 203, 204). 34 - Equitop GLME Senior Foxhunter First Round
First place rosette kindly sponsored by Equitop GLME In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 310.6 (b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2012, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify. Qualifies for: The Senior Foxhunter Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior Foxhunter First Round competitions in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in a Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money. Horses in the class must go into the jump off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. Those horses that have competed in the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2019 are not eligible for qualification to the 2020 Championship. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. Classes 34 & 35 will be run consecutively. There will be one course walk for both classes before class 34. Prize giving for both classes will be after class 35. Two sets of prizes will be awarded.

35 - Senior 1.20m Open CWD Final
For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Open to combinations who have qualified from classes : 9, 14, 20. Please note: If the winner of this class has previously won the CWD prize, then the CWD prize will be passed down the line.

36 - Blue Chip Karma Performance Championship Qualifier
In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 700 points,(unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equitop GLME Senior Foxhunter second round. (Age rule applies) Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 310 all 7yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but to qualify the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2020. Therefore any horses which are 7yrs old from 1st September 2019 to 31st December 2019 and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st September 2019 to 31st December 2019. Qualification does not pass down the line. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

37 - Scottish Branch Young Riders Championship
For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. For riders born in or after 1996 the winner will receive the Scottish Branch Young Riders Championship trophy which will be presented at the Scottish Branch Ball 2020

38 - National 1.30m Open
In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate and Junior Members. Qualifies for: The British Showjumping National Championships. Qualifying period: 1st July-30th June. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify. Double clear qualifications will not be obtained from one round competitions (e.g. Table A4 or Table A (1 Round))

39 - Winter Grand Prix
In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses, to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members. Qualifies for: Two double clears will qualify for the National 1.40m Championship at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualifying period: 1st October-31st March. Rule 290.15 - Pre-Entry Drawn Order Entries may possibly be accepted before 9.00am providing that the number of entries are less than 60 (with the exception of County shows). Once entries reach 60 before 9.00am the class will be closed. Any entries taken on the day must compete first in the drawn order.
