Class 4 SEATING PLAN
You may wish to consider making a block booking for a table/tables with friends and family. However, don’t
worry if you don’t know anybody or don’t want to book via this option.
For the seating plan and table place cards please let me know the names (as you would like them printed) for
all members of your party.
Class 5) MEAL OPTIONS
Please let me know against each person's name if they have any special dietary requirements. This includes
anyone wishing the vegetarian option on the main adult menu.
Class 6) PHOTOGRAPHS
Please e-mail me a (nice!) digital photograph of your rider(s). These are usually ‘action shots from a show,
or a presentation. If however, you have any other falls, funnies, or other casual shots I may make up another
presentation. The photographs will be projected onto a screen as a backdrop collage on the evening of the
Junior Ball. If you don't send a suitable photo, YOU will have to answer to your child!
To ensure the photograph looks really good when projected and enlarged please send a hi-resolution image. A
file size around 1.5-2.2 MB, 1500-2200 kbytes is ideal. But if you’ve only got a smaller image file(s) 100 –
500 kbytes then that may do, however small files will not enlarge on a projector to produce a nice image.
Any modern digital camera or phone should give a good image. If you've bought a JPEG (electronic image
file) from a photographer then chances are it's only intended for use on Facebook etc, and not to be printed or
projected enlarged. However it may work. Try it on the largest screen (Computer, T.V.) you have at home. A
digital photograph taken of a bought print might just work, but beware of glare or reflections.
Also, please take care when emailing the file(s) to me. Sometimes when you email a photo file, then the file
size is made much smaller by the software (PC or Phone). Sometimes you get the chance to select if you want
to do this, and by how much. Other software might not give you a choice. You could try emailing a copy to
yourself, and see if you receive back what you sent.
Class 7) RIDERS LEAVING PONIES
Please inform me the names of any competing riders who are in their last year on ponies, i.e. have their
16th birthday during 2019, and are attending the ball. They will be presented with a memento to mark the end
of an era.
Class 7) NEW MEMBERS of Britsh Showjumping
Central Scotland Glamping, (Grant & Gillian Turnbull) are very kindly sponsoring this award for all new BS
